The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of 8 inactive players for today’s game against the San Diego Chargers.
QB Matt Cassel, S Donald Washington, CB Mike Richardson, FB Tim Castille, LB Corey Mays, LB Charlie Anderson, C Rudy Niswanger and DL Anthony Toribio.
No shockers here. We’ve known since Saturday when the team left Cassel behind in Kansas City that he would be out and Washington seemed to be the only real question mark, but with Kendrick Lewis healthy it doesn’t hurt as much. After a few lean weeks in the secondary, they are almost at full strength back there.
Good to see Chris Chambers will be back on the field to play against his former team after being a healthy scratch last week. Maybe facing the team that cut him loose last season will get the veteran back on track.
